I was too tired to go to the Online Class last week, but did
download and print the lesson. Here is
my homework – both colors are Lizbeth; Wildflower Garden and Medium Antique
Violet. I like these colors together!
I’ve started (and now nearly finished) a second medallion,
done in Lizbeth Spring Fling. Other than
a maple leaf in fall colors, that’s all the tatting I’ve had time (and energy)
for. All this overtime takes a lot out
of a person!
Pretty, pretty, pretty.
ReplyDeleteShame, it is horrible to have to work for so long! I hope that you enjoyed your day resting!
ReplyDeleteYour tatting is beautiful. :)
Those coloours go well together, sort of lifts it, a pretty design.
ReplyDeleteToo much work and too little tatting!
I'm always amazed at how much tatting is accomplished by those of you who have jobs! This is a very pretty medallion and the colors are excellent together.
ReplyDeleteInteresting colour combo - I am undecided, but keep coming back to look at it!
ReplyDeleteFox : )
Hi, Sharren! Big wave from Tennessee!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful mediallion and I have to second Kathy about that combination! Yummy!
Hugs!
Really wonderful!!! :)
ReplyDeleteBeing a huge fan of Wildflower Garden colorway, I was excited to see how it paired with Medium Antique Violet. I LIKE IT! Your motif is so very pretty. And like, Fox, I keep coming back to look at it. :-D
ReplyDeleteWould it be safe to presume that your tatting has helped maintain your sanity during all the overtime?
Thanks for all the kind words! It's been tough at work since before Tat Days (we're going through a software conversion) and so far this week, I've "only" averaged 10 hours per day. Whew! But it's nice to get overtime pay - I treated myself to a little Handy Hands order to celebrate still being sane!
ReplyDeleteMy tatting average is low - in the last three weeks, maybe 40 minutes a day. Pitiful! Hopefully in a few more weeks, I can work a more "normal" schedule and spend more quality time with my shuttles and the lovely threads I ordered!
